The Brothers of Eta Chi take huge pride in having their members strive to excel in many facets of college life, and that means participating heavily in other organizations. Below are merely a few of the brothers involvement:
Jamichael Carroll – President of The Collegiate 100
Derion Lipford – Past President of NPHC
Patrick Blackmon – Past Vice President of NPHC
Stephen Mbote – Bryant Hall RA
Bracey Black – The Collegiate 100
Darius McAdoo – The Collegiate 100
Ryan Pope – The Collegiate 100
Tre Tellis – Videographer for Crimson Tide Productions
Geno Matias-Smith - 2016 NCAA Football National Champions
Shaun Dion Hamilton - 2016 NCAA Football National Champions
Nationally and Provincially, the Eta Chi Brothers are heavily involved in major activities. This past August they attended the Kappa Alpha Psi Grand Chapter Meetings, also known as Konklave, in New Orleans, LA. Here, they fraternized with brothers from around the world and became certified – meaning that the chapter is both financially and behaviorally active.

Also, the brothers attended Kappa Alpha Psi’s C. Rodger Wilson Leadership Conference in Jacksonville, FL where officers attended workshops on topics such as Anti-Hazing, Organizational Leadership, and Bond Strengthening. The new members were also invited and initiated here.

The Eta Chi Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi is both in good standing conduct wise and financially under the Southern Province. Though a letter is not provided due to discretionary purposes, Brother Bertram Orum, Polemarch (President) of the Southern Province, can be contacted at bkorum@charter.net.
