This past year, Kappa Alpha Psi’s entire new member program was revamped. It is now called the Membership Training Academy, or MTA. It focuses on teaching organizational and chapter history, as well as emphasizing the fraternity stance against hazing. The MTA training is concluded each semester at the C. Rodger Wilson Leadership Conference.
The MTA Chairman is the undergraduate officer in charge of educating the new members of the chapter and accompanying them to Jacksonville, FL where the initiation takes place.
Oftentimes through the year, members participated in Bond Tightenings where they gather and perform ritualistic events, in the hopes of bringing the chapter together and getting everyone on the same page.
